Hello! Thanks for visiting Pretty Please and Mango Trees. My heart is that each of these hand created pieces would bring encouragement and simple truths to our hearts when we need it most- which if you are anything like me is all the time doing the things I do every day. It’s the simple reminders- while I drink my morning coffee or cook dinner for my family- that keep my heart set on the things that matter most. Perspective, it is hard to keep in focus.

The idea for this blog started back in about 2016 shortly after losing my son. I had no idea what it looked like at that time. It has been a very slow process, but my heart has always been the same. Encouragement and truth in a world full of lies and misconceptions.

The name comes from a feeling of being somewhere in between a major people pleaser (always saying pretty please) and wanting to ‘go sit beneath the mango trees and forget about the places I need to be’.
